What to wear:
Women: Wear your most vibrant, colorful outfit! Lehengas and Indo-Western Palazzos (an Indian take on matching sets) are perfect Indian styles to wear for this event. If you wear American, Maxi Dresses or Coordinated Sets will tie in seamlessly. There will be lots of dancing this night, so make sure your outfit is comfortable and you can move in it!
Men: If you choose to wear Indian this night, reach for a traditional outfit like a Kurta or Sherwani. Kurtas will be pulled on over your head, and a Sherwani buttons up like a jacket. You'll want to select a size that matches the typical suit jacket size you wear. If you go American, suit is the move!
What to Wear
Women: The most traditional event of the weekend! For Indian wear, we recommend any style that you're comfortable sitting in – Lehenga, Sari, Palazzos, you name it. For American wear, day-time formal wear is perfectly appropriate. In either scenario, we recommend avoiding wearing black or white as these colors are considered inauspicious for the occasion. You'll want to wear something that is comfortable to sit in!
Men: Same guidance as the Sangeet attire. However, anyone that knows the groom will be dancing in with him for his entrance – so we recommend wearing something comfortable to dance in!
What to wear:
This is the night for your formal wear. Whether you go Indian or American is entirely up to you – Gowns and Lehengas are our picks to reach for. Feel free to be as glamorous and shimmery as you'd like this night!
Men: With the event being Black Tie Optional, reach for a Tux, Suit or Sherwani. You can't go wrong!
