Mendhi ~ 05/14/20

What to wear:

Women: Anarkalis, lehengas and fusion outfits are perfect styles to wear for this event. Don’t worry about showing torso - that is standard with Indian clothing. We recommend something with short sleeves so your hands can easily get mendhi applied to them. And since South Asian weddings are full of color, we suggest staying away from black and white.

Men: You'll want to wear a traditional Indian outfit called a Kurta. Kurta's are a long top with tight pants bunched around your ankle that you pull on over your head. You'll want to select a size that matches the typical suit jacket size you wear. You'll want to avoid wearing black or white and if you want something to go with a suit you have, we also have vests!

Sangeet ~ 05/15/20

What to wear:

Women: Wear your most vibrant outfit for this evening of dancing. Lehengas and anarkalis are perfect styles to wear for this event. Don’t worry about showing torso - that is standard with Indian clothing. There will be lots of dancing so make sure your outfit is comfortable (hence we don’t recommend saris). And lastly, please avoid wearing black or white.

Men: You'll want to wear a traditional Indian outfit called a Kurta or Sherwani. Kurta's will be pulled on over your head, and a Sherwani buttons up like a jacket. You'll want to select a size that matches the typical suit jacket size you wear. You'll want to avoid wearing black or white and if you want something to go with a suit you have, we also have vests!

Baraat + Ceremony ~ 05/16/20

This is an afternoon event and there will be some dancing during the baraat before the ceremony so choose something you can move in! We recommend bright colors, avoid red, white and black
